Our story
It started with a battered 4x4 and one route
Trips Morocco Sahara began in Marrakech more than a decade ago with a single vehicle and one journey: over the Tichka, down to Ait Ben Haddou, out to the dunes and back. Travellers kept asking for more time, more detail, better nights in the desert — so we built the company around those requests rather than around a catalogue.
Today we are a small team of Moroccan drivers, guides and planners. We still drive the routes ourselves, still test every camp and guesthouse before we place a guest in it, and still answer messages personally — including at midnight when a flight is delayed.
What we sell is not a package. It is two thousand kilometres of country we know well, shared at a pace that lets you actually see it.

This is home. We grew up between the Atlas and the Tafilalt, and we still stop the car when the light is good.

Our drivers know which pass to avoid after snow, which café makes the best tagine and which dune has the quietest sunrise.

Respect for culture
We work with family-run guesthouses and camps, pay fairly, and visit villages as guests rather than spectators.
