Tour overview

Why travellers choose this journey

If Marrakech is your base, this is the journey that gives you the desert without rearranging your trip. Out over the Atlas, down through the kasbahs and gorges, a night in the dunes, and back through the Ziz and the mountains to your riad on the third evening.

The return leg is long — we won't pretend otherwise — but it is broken with viewpoints, a mountain lunch and the kind of scenery that makes the drive part of the holiday rather than the price of it.

Perfect for: Travellers based in Marrakech, returning flights from Marrakech, and short trips that still want a genuine Sahara night.
